Thank you for your interest in a custom piece. Alongside the 1-of-1 series, the studio accepts a limited number of commissions each month.
A commission can start from a color palette you have in mind, drawn from the studio's large range of glass beads, or from one of the existing series forms. The studio works directly with each collector to make a piece that is 1-of-1 and made to order.
WEDDINGS
For a bride, the studio can create a 1-of-1 FORM or BIFORM pair designed around your wedding: the dress, the flowers, or your color palette. Like all 1-of-1 work, the colorway is never repeated.
For bridesmaids, MINIMA, MODUS, and PENDULUM can be made as coordinated sets. Each bridesmaid can wear the same colorway, or the sets can move through a range of colors drawn from your palette. They also make a lasting thank-you gift for your wedding party.
Because bridal parties often involve several pairs, please inquire at least 8 weeks before the wedding.
THE PROCESS
Inquiry: Use the form on the Inquire page. Include your preferred series (FORM, BIFORM, MINIMA, MODUS, PENDULUM, TORUS, or SEQUENCE), the colors you have in mind, and your choice of metal (14/20 gold-filled, .925 sterling silver, or titanium).
Consultation & Quote: Within 48 hours, the studio will review your request and email you a quote and timeline. Commissions begin at $175. Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the piece, the bead finishes, and the metal.
Deposit: A 50% deposit reserves your place in the schedule. It covers the beads and metal findings chosen for your piece.
Digital Proof: Before weaving begins, you'll receive a digital preview of your colorway and design, so you can see the piece before it's made.
Review & Approval: When the piece is finished, you'll receive close-up photos for your final approval.
Delivery: After approval and payment of the remaining balance, your piece is packed in the studio's signature packaging and shipped insured, with tracking.
TERMS
Timeline: Please allow 2 to 3 weeks from deposit to shipment.
Final Sale: Commissions are made to your specifications, so completed pieces can't be returned or exchanged. The deposit is non-refundable once paid, and so is the final balance once charged.
