Every piece from Geometric Beadworks is hand-woven from glass beads into a hollow 3D form, with findings in 14/20 gold-filled, .925 sterling silver, or titanium. Whether it's 1-of-1 or open edition, a little care will keep its shape, color, and shine for years.
Avoid Water: Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising. Water and sweat can wear down bead finishes over time and tarnish metal.
Apply Cosmetics First: Put your pieces on after perfume, hair products, lotion, and makeup. These can leave a film on the beads and dull their finish.
Store Flat: When you're not wearing a piece, store it flat in its microfiber pouch. This keeps the hollow form from being crushed and keeps chains from tangling.
Anti-Tarnish Tab: Keep the included anti-tarnish tab in the pouch with gold-filled and sterling silver pieces. It absorbs the gases in the air that cause tarnish. Titanium doesn't tarnish, so it doesn't need one.
Cleaning: Wipe the beads gently with a clean, dry, soft cloth. Use the included polishing cloth on the metal findings only, not on the beads. Never soak beadwork in liquid or use jewelry cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners.
